The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, Division of Medicaid is currently seeking a Research Analyst Supervisor to fulfill a strategic role working directly within the Medicaid Enterprise system. This position will lead the Medicaid data analytics team to support data needs both within and outside of the Medicaid organization.

Candidates will lead innovative and technological solutions to connect and streamline multi-system reporting, analysis, and visualization capabilities to improve end user effectiveness and support business design at all levels. This position will lead a team to support Division informational needs that include program forecasting and the development of key program performance indicators and related reporting. The incumbent will play a lead role in managing the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Division’s Data Warehouse and related Business Intelligence reporting tools to improve accurate and timely responses to federal, operational, legislative and funding requests for information.
- Experience that demonstrates considerable knowledge of modeling and trend analysis and simulation techniques.
- Good knowledge of supervisory practices.
- Experience planning and directing research and statistical projects and evaluating and presenting (orally and in writing) the results.
- Experience using and interpreting output of statistical analysis software package.
