The National Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resource Center will host a webinar detailing how to create a friendly, dementia-capable community. The Orange County Department of OC CARES, located in North Carolina, succeeded in creating a better community for their most vulnerable members over the past year and a half and would like to discuss the challenges and successes of their programs. They will explain the core requirements of a dementia friendly and capable community and how to undergo a trial-and-error with these clear core objectives in mind. The webinar will be held on July 19, 2017, 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET. The webinar will be recorded and can found here.
