MediSked Seeks Director of Sales & Business Development- Medicaid Programs (National)

MediSked seeks a Director of Sales and Business Development – Medicaid Programs (National) who can leverage their connections and experience in Medicaid long-term services and supports to promote MediSked’s innovative suite of human services software solutions. The Director of Sales and Business Development is responsible for leading the effort to maximize revenue and success opportunities for MediSked; The successful candidate will work closely with MediSked’s Technology Operations, Compliance, Implementation, and Product Strategy & Design divisions to set strategy and deliver results in a scalable, maintainable, repeatable and responsible manner; The successful candidate will possess a background in closing skills, drive for results, prospecting skills, sales planning, selling to customer needs, cross-boundary collaboration, presentation skills, high energy level, meeting sales goals and professionalism.; This position reports to the President.

Primary Responsibilities:

Expand MediSked’s leadership role in the human services community with relationships that highlight improvements in the individual experience of care; improvements in the health of populations; and reductions in the per capita costs of care for populations

Develop and execute on sales plan that provides strong growth in the following markets

State-wide data aggregation tools to support initiatives such as CMS Final Rule transition plans

Conflict-free case management initiatives

State government market expansion

Provider-based market expansion

Leverage and expand professional network to spread awareness of MediSked’s solutions

Identify and pursue opportunities for new contracts and markets where MediSked can earn revenue

Assist marketing organization to analyze market potential, penetration and metrics for data-driven brand recognition

Manage and mentor team of sales and business development professionals to support successful sales engagements resulting in maximum revenue

Assist sales team with calls, presentations and communications with potential contacts

Ensure quality benchmarks and achievements for sales team product and industry expertise

Provide leadership and management

Contribute to product development through subject matter expertise

Provide recommendations for product roadmap and product positioning and pricing

Stay updated and research new industry product trends that will ensure MediSked is maintaining a strategically competitive edge in the marketplace

Other responsibilities as assigned


Solid management experience that would include operational management and managing client-facing resources

Knowledge of Medicaid Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) for providers, oversight, and payers in various states and localities across the US

Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate and influence internal teams and external clients

· Proven ability to mentor and motivate teams

· Demonstrated commitment to quality, customer service and teamwork

· Experience using, evaluating, or participating in the implementation of enterprise software solutions is a plus

Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint

Ability and passion to research and learn new technologies and stay on the cutting edge of technology

Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

Ability to make informed decisions independently

Proven public speaking skills and ability to conduct remote meetings

Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high intensity environment

Ability to travel nationwide, up to 40%

Bachelor’s degree required
