Grant Opportunity from the Administration on Aging to Innovate Nutrition Service Programs

The Administration on Aging, a subsection of the Administration for Community Living (ACL), offers a grant opportunity to increase evidenced based knowledge on nutrition providers. These four grants will be awarded to support innovative practices that will supply the aging network with information and evidenced based practices that will improve the effectiveness and quality of nutrition services program within the aging services network. Particular attention will be shown to projects that innovate service products such as online ordering systems, increase volunteer participation from culinary professionals, and show consideration towards variations in eating habits and preferences in taste and nutrition needs. The grant submission closes on August 7, 2017.
